Fall is one of my most favorite seasons and what a great time of the year to get out your sweaters and make something fun. Some ORANGE sweaters perhaps? I love the color orange, felted wool sweaters and shades of green. Put it together with a twig from the yard and BAM you have the ultimate home decoration for fall, upcycled sweater pumpkins.

I am not a big fan of Halloween decor, but I do like to decorate with pumpkins and leaves. You will be able to keep these guys sitting around until Thanksgiving. In fact, wouldn’t they be nice to display at the Thanksgiving table?

Look how cute they are made up using a yellow and even a brown sweater. A little whimsy and fun.
Sewing the leaves were so much fun! I tried a new technique with layering and sewing different shades of felt. I think I have found a new medium to work with. Awe, so many ideas and so much I want to do.
The pattern to make these sweater pumpkins has been listed in my Etsy shop .
Check out this post, where I give you the link to the sweater pumpkins video tutorial.
Have fun sewing!
