Make a simple sundress using a pillowcase or a rectangular piece of fabric! This beginner-friendly PDF sewing pattern walks you through making an easy summer sundress with gathered elastic at the front and back and bias tape shoulder ties. It’s a fun way to use a pretty pillowcase you already have, upcycle a thrifted pillowcase, or simply use a piece of fabric.  This is a great project for beginning sewists, and with sizes ranging from 2T through Adult,

The adult version uses two fabric panels that you can easily adjust to your desired dress length.

Make your sundress using: A standard pillowcase or regular fabric cut to size

Suggested fabrics include quilting cotton, cotton blends, knit fabric, or a lightweight fabric with a nice drape.
