Have you ever spent your precious time cutting out and saving coupons, only to find that you don’t have them when you need them? I sure have. It is so frustrating to be in a store and realize you could have saved $5.00 with a coupon that is sitting on your counter top at home!
Here is a quick easy tip for keeping coupons handy in the car. Now this isn’t your complete coupon file that you would take to the grocery store, however you could keep that in your car as well. This is just a little pouch to keep those STORE SPECIFIC coupons that are too bulky to keep in your grocery coupon file.
I like to keep the JoAnn coupons, Costco and any other store coupons that I know I might use, in this pouch. I place it in the glove compartment of my car and I am good to go.
I had in my head to design a pattern for such a thing, and was going to sew one up. But then I got thinking of something that might be MUCH EASIER. A binder pencil holder.
I purchased this cloth zip pouch with a clear plastic window, in the school supply section for only .60 cents.
It measures 10 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches.
It works like a charm. Now I am ready to shop and most importantly ready to Save a buck or two! Who doesn’t like that?
That is it. Next time you are in the school supply section, pick yourself out a cute pencil pouch and get clipping those coupons.
