Have you been drinking your GREEN SMOOTHIES?
Try adding 3-4 drops of essential oils to your green smoothie and add a little kick. It taste yummy and is a refreshing change from your basic green smoothie.
A blend of grapefruit, lemon, peppermint, ginger and cinnamon essential oils is a great way to help manage hunger, calm your stomach and lift your mood. Make a blend using 5 drops each of the above oils and keep in a empty bottle. Then add 3-4 drops to your smoothie.
I just went to a Green Smoothie Girl workshop the other day, and she recommended this.
By the way if you haven’t checked out Robyn Openshaw’s website or don’t know who she is, look her up, she is quite the gal and you can learn a lot from her. She has several YouTube videos about eating healthy.
Give the essential oils in your smoothies a whirl!
I usually put a little slice of lemon or a few drops of lemon essential oil in my green smoothies to help my body absorb the iron. It taste good too.
